Jesus of Nazareth (1977). An epic mini-series depicting the life of Christ from His birth through His resurrection. Zeffirelli's production is highly acclaimed for its thorough Biblical and historical research, a distinguished cast, authentic locations, and outstanding music and cinematography.

Chariots of Fire (1981). This inspirational true story constrasts the spiritual motives of two runners from the United Kingdom, Harold Abrahams and Eric Liddell, one with spiritual motives, the other with more selfish goals. Their fierce, personal competition ends up uniting them in a great victory in the 1924 Olympics.

The Song of Bernadette (1943). Based on the extraordinary portrait of a simple and humble girl touched by Our Lady of Lourdes and of the skepticism and even hostility that greeted her claims. Bernadette Soubirous died on April 15, 1879 and was canonized on December 8, 1933.

The Quiet Man (1952). An epic romantic comedy from John Ford about the collision course between an anti-materialistic, Irish-American boxer ("Trooper Thornton") and a local, mean bully–– further entangled when Thornton falls in love with the bully's sister who refuses to consummate her marriage without her dowry.
